Sumit Sharma

Sumit Sharma is an educator, life coach, author and mentor with over 26 years of experience in academia and professional development. Holding a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University, he has devoted his career to nurturing intellectual curiosity and creating transformative learning experiences for students across generations. As a published author, his works span a wide range of themes — from the Kaushalendra series of children's books and the Reflections series of books for youth, to Yogam: The Science of One's Relationship with the Supreme.

He has mentored a diverse array of high-achieving individuals — including entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists, corporate executives, and industry leaders — many of whom credit his guidance with meaningfully strengthening their leadership abilities, decision-making skills, and sense of purpose. His mentees have gone on to build successful careers at institutions and organisations such as Google, Microsoft, NUS Singapore, IITs, BITS Pilani, CEERI, DRDO, the University of Minnesota, UIUC, Samsung, D. E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, and many more.

He currently serves as Visiting Faculty at the School of Leadership, KIIT University. He has also served as Guest Faculty at BITS Pilani and Kurukshetra University for over two decades, where he played a key role in designing and delivering courses on leadership, ethics, and personal development, drawing on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. Beyond the classroom, he has been invited to speak at some of the world's leading universities, including the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and BML Munjal University.

His ability to connect traditional wisdom with modern challenges has made him a respected voice in education, leadership, and self-development.
